CANADIAN FOOD INSPECTION AGENCY (CFIA)

The project consisted of the interior fit-up of a two-storey 3,700 square-metre building for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The new facility provides office space that accommodates 231 employees. The design solution included the provision of various types of spaces: hotelling work stations (for visitors), kitchenettes, reference centres, informal meeting areas, open business centres, and soft seating areas. Support spaces consist of meeting rooms, a boardroom, shower facilities, loading docks, and file storage areas.
