HEALTH CANADA In May 1999, interior design work for Health Canada - Phase I began on three floors of a thirteen-storey office building. The design consists of offices, meeting rooms, an employee assistance call centre, a medical clinic, a secured vaccine and medical supply storage area, and various testing facilities. The clinic component includes doctors' and nurses' offices with attached examination rooms. Adjacent to the clinic is the centralized research and testing facilities such as X-ray, pulmonary, vision, audiometric, and electrocardiogram rooms. Following the successful completion of Phase I, interior
design services for Phase II were carried out in January 2000. The second
phase involved renovation work on two floors, and consisted of open work
spaces, enclosed offices, and meeting rooms. |
