ST. PETER CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL 1995 - Masonry Design Award At the request of the Client, the successful design of Holy Trinity Catholic High School, Kanata, was adapted to meet the Board's specific requirements for the Township of Cumberland. This comprehensive high school accommodates 1,400 students enrolled in grades seven to twelve. The design of the school includes the most advanced technology in HVAC systems. The school is highly computer-oriented and has many specialized, teaching spaces. The highlight of the school is a central, three-storey atrium with a skylight that brings natural light into the interior teaching areas. Similar to traditional schools, the design arranges classrooms along double-loaded corridors to minimize circulation space. The construction management method was used to achieve strict completion deadlines. Our services included design, preparation of construction documents on the CAD system, cost control, and construction review. |
